(13,858 posts)1. Probably the most straightforward, but not necessarily the most convenient, is via Google's home page:
- Copy the the URL of the picture you want to search for.
- Go to www.google.com, select "Image" search.
- Paste in the URL, hit enter.
- Google should present you with a "search by image" option - select that.
2. You can also search without having to manually eneter the search in Google, but the specific procedure will vary somewhat, depending on which platorm and browser you're using.
- e.g., right now I'm using The Chrome browser on an Android tablet. I press on the picture until a menu pops up and select "Search Google for this image"
- On a PC, you would right-click on the the picture, which should give you a menu option to search for similar images.
- Firefox has plug-in(s) which will give you more/better search options.
