I find that amazing..!!!! I just went to my email at "GMAIL" wrote myself an email, and while I was writing it, it also corrected my spelling. If I type something wrong, it draws a red line beneath the word. Yes..It is amazing. You see those words I just wrote, (Yes..It) ? It, the program drew a red line beneath it. In this post right now. So, I just spelled the word (incredible) purposely wrong. I spelled it incredible...(with an a instead of an i in the last part (that is able, not ible) and it automatically correct it. drew a red line..What else is there to say? red lines and corrections...???

The Autocorrect feature, which can be turned off fortunately, as it sometimes guesses wildly incorrectly what you're trying to say.

I must add this...when I was teaching in the high school where I worked, from time to time the students corrected my spelling. While it was embarrassing, I was a "history teacher" not a speller so I tried to make a joke. It worked most of the time..

Does your computer underline misspelled words?

important, I type very fast because 55 years ago, I took typing in high school and was/am good at it. Sometimes the computer does not change the word but does underline it. OH MY....

Fifty five years ago, when I took typing in high school, I am not sure if I could imagine ever typing on a computer like I am doing now. And having one that does so much, along with the internet. Oh WELL.........and the availability of computers to almost everyone....
