ReplyASAP, an app built by Nick Herbert, allows parents to send a message that locks kids phones until they reply to the message.
The idea for ReplyASAP came to creator Nick Herbert when his son, Ben, got a smartphone.
I just found that my messages and calls tended to get missed quite a lot because he got a lot of social media notifications, Herbert told CTV News Channel.

Through the app, users can send a message that will be displayed over top of anything the recipient may be doing on their phone and sounds an alarm on the phone even if its set to silent.

I would use it. They were little jerks when they weren't in the mood to acknowledge me. And that was often. Pissed me right off.

shut the service off on their phone when they don't answer you. When I handed the phone to the kids for the 1st time I told them I paid the bill. When I call they answer, except when driving. When I had enough, I shut their phone off for 10 days. I only had to do it once. They are in their 20's now and still answer or respond within a few minutes.
