Has anyone posted their resume on Indeed or Monster?

I've been thinking about putting a resume on Indeed. I would start a new email account just for this and not include my phone number.

Has anyone put their resume on a job board? What has been your experience?

My experience was it was a lot of retail, home sales types of things. I finally found a university job, part time through friends who knew how I was suffering. I took my resume EVERYWHERE I went and always told people I was looking. Of course I was an older worker, anyone over 50 has a hard time.

Found my current very nice job on Indeed. I get an occasional email/message from some cheesey headhunters but I ignore them. Usually for contract gigs in a region I don't want to work.

I posted it late last week so I haven't seen a lot yet. Other than a ton of emails notifying me of jobs well below what I'm looking for.
