I’ve spent more money than a millionaire.” Ha, I can identify!

I was fortunate to see Howlin’ Wolf and Willie Dixon perform together once, late in HW’s life. I think my favorite of his songs is “Smokestack Lightnin’” — the poetic lyrics and his other-worldly vocal make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!

There was a DUer here, since banished, who played with Lightnin' Hopkins.
And Mississippi John Hurt. He and I became friends and I met him and played guitar with him.

I never get tired of these guys’ music.
