Jamming with miss K yesterday our sons eight grade guitar teacher

I made a huge pot of spaghetti Italian sausages meatballs and side of green beans and garlic bread. We sent miss k home with leftovers , I tell you this I love her she is awesome guitarist and educator we have a great school district with dedicated teachers. Friday I told our son see if miss k wants to jam Saturday he was like dad she is awesome on fretboard and she was free to come on out to the farm.

We have talked in person and email and she told me once by email what a pleasure it was today to hear your son playing Electric lady land in open jam. And that she informed the ninth grade guitar teacher he will be getting a great student.

We were all over the fretboard yesterday jazz Django Reinhardt to SRV to page and Hendrix. And we had fun that is the object of getting together and jamming, why we even explored some open jams just bouncing riffs off our son and his two friends and miss k and dad. I was in a blues mood yesterday jimmy reed Elmore James mood add some ZZ Top must have been the spaghetti.

Lucky kids to have such a Dad as you, and a teacher like Miss K. Sounds like it was a very cool session.

What an awesome day. Between the two of you .... you're teaching the younger generation the right stuff! you are setting such a great example!

Must have been the spaghetti, lol.

I wish more people would realize what awesome people public school teachers are, every time I hear these right wingers bashing public schools it makes my blood boil. Every single one of my kids' teachers throughout school was dedicated and worked hard for the kids.

How lucky your kids are. Most school systems are lucky to have one music teacher for an entire school, let alone ones for specific instruments.
