It has been witnessed that female chimpanzee-children carry around sticks like a human girl would carry around a doll. It has been interpreted as some kind of maternal instinct.

Maybe the dog would like to have puppies as well, and as he has none, he takes care of the bottle.

She had to know where her monster was at all times. Like it was a baby.

As puppies they had a squeaky toy that used water bottles. Then they got to play with water bottles. Then they were able to eat them. Three years later, they will jump up and try to take them from someone. We don’t use them.
