was a right wing Republican. I hear he didn't get along with left leaning Democrat Spencer Tracy on the set of BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK. After a while they didn't talk to each other but Brennan would often flash 3 fingers to remind Tracey that he was a 3 time supporting actor Oscar winner while Tracy was only a 2 time best actor winner.
