Yesterday, when we were unloading groceries, my husband accidentally dropped an onion on the floor and the skin broke open.
He asked me if it would go bad if left like that, and I replied, Im not sure, but why dont you put it in a Ziploc bag and put it in the fridge, and Ill use it next when I need an onion.
So, this morning, Im going to make ratatouille. I go down to the cellar to get some canned tomatoes, and see this on top of the net bag with the onions in it. I couldnt stop laughing and just had to post this picture.

(34,136 posts)Use duct tape first - if that doesn't fix it, THEN use the WD-40. If nothing else, the WD-40 will take the sticky glue off that the duct tape leaves.

EVERYTHING!
He didn't even bother with duct tape.

Maybe he wasn't even sure what a ziplock bag is.
But duct tape? No problem!

(1,729 posts)Think about it. A ziplock bag is a feminine solution (receptive), and duct tape is masculine (requires sticking). He was thinking with his . . .nevermind.
