I love food from everywhere but my favorite is Greek food. My second choice would be Indian food.

(54,387 posts)One of the best Greek restaurants in our part of Germany is 100 meters from our house door. We can have that any time--except Tuesdays--we like (which, due to the proximity, we like often. ???ή ό????!).

(16,334 posts)still eat meat occasionally but becoming more and more rare. I cook vegan during the week and I find myself not wanting meat on the weekends. I still want cheese though but I don't buy it.
Went to a conference yesterday and there was exactly zero options for vegan or even vegetarian. The lunch was a chik-fil-a sandwich, potato chips and a chocolate chip cookie.
Closest and quickest thing I could find was a Subway so I got a veggie wrap and my boss paid for it.

(2,120 posts)I love lots of different cuisines. Have cooked Chinese for 40 years, Indian, Thai, Mexican,
Greek, Middle Eastern for a long time. But if told that I could only have one regional cuisine
for the rest of my days, it would be North Italian or Tuscan. They take one ingredient, especially
one vegetable, and celebrate it by perfectly preparing it to showcase its best qualities. This is why
in Italy you will find five types of eggplants, four kinds of fennel and six different artichokes.

(17,984 posts)So I'm going to list a few:
New Mexican Mexican (I'm differentiating between the various "Mexican" foods)
Indian (not Nepalese)
Middle Easter/North African (This is a weird one. There is crossover into Mediterranean. I'm thinking mujedra, foul, etc with a lot of heat)
