I've been watching SNL since their first year. Nothing can compare to the Not Ready For Prime Time Players... Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner, Dan Ackroyd, John Balushi, etc. Etc... Or when Bill Murray played Hercules a nd complained that he couldn't pick up a heavy stone just now because he had hurt his back earlier a nd if we could just wait a minute...
Anyway... Tonight's SNL may not be as good as those from the seventies, but it's pretty darned good. The first three skits were hilarious... Especially the toilet seat that ejected you if you die on the pot.
Good stuff.

(118,824 posts)and make up these days. But the talent is there. I was too young to watch it in its hay day. I would not be able to say if it is in its best years. But it is great.

(456 posts)which helped paced the entire show. I also think the with the Weekend Update showing clips of (Real) Trump's Madness was better than any joke/ or statement that could have been made. It's almost like the whole world can say "Can You Believe this Shit?"
