and holy crap does it taste good!
Been avoiding it due to stomach issues and sipping on one cup tea per day to stave off caffeine headache. I've missed my dear coffee so much.

(32,015 posts)I couldn't give it up for that long! Bravo to you!
Although I gave it up for 3 pregnancies back in the 90s. I don't think I could do it now!

(7,432 posts)I do buy three-pound bags of their French Roast from Costco. It's the best coffee I've ever had. But that's because, for decades, I've been searching for the best French Roast, and I've always been disappointed. Not any more. A hot cup and a spot of cream (not half and half, not milk), and it's launching time for the day.

(4,609 posts)I had no clue there was such a thing as low acid coffee. Going to check out the Puroast and the Colombian one further down the list.

(13,914 posts)I tried to stop drinking my beloved coffee twice. Both times I got massive headaches and upset stomach... Now I only drink about two cups a day.. Three if I'm living dangerously..
Caffeine with drawl?

(4,609 posts)on the first day. I've been making a giant, 2-bag cup of tea in a 20 oz thermos and slowly sipping at it all day. That knocked the headache back some, and after a few days it got rid of it entirely. It's probably cheating, but also better than the ridiculous amount of coffee I was drinking every day. An unexpected bonus: I don't have to pee every 30-40 minutes anymore, lol!

(698 posts)About 5 months ago I developed a minor heart problem. For the duration I'm not allowed alcohol or caffeine (yes, two of the basic food groups gone at one blow). I like a glass or two of wine of an evening, but I'm never tempted to cheat there. It's the coffee that's a constant temptation.
