My dog's been licking his junk LOUDLY!

The past several nights in bed and all day today our little terrier's been lapping loudly at his business. There's nothing more off putting that lap lap lap lap all night long, especially when the same said dog is laying right behind you and you feel him going at it all night. Several times during the night, my wide or I'd yell "enough Reeces".

Just thought I'd share.

Pfft.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not that twisted. I promise. I'm just bored. No, I'm not saying that a video of a dog apparently pleasuring himself would entertain me, but my tasteless comment did.

.....and MOANS, loudly. And he's been fixed, too!

Why does a dog lick himself? Because he can!

him to the vet,to rule out neurological disorders, dental problems, or Cushings disease. I know a dog owner that had two bad teeth removed from her dog's mouth, and he stopped licking his stuff.

Here are a few other reasons:

Many canines will lick for a multitude of reasons: obsessive/compulsion disorder, anxiety, boredom, investigatory behavior, positive feed-back (via pleasurable stimulation of the vomer organ), greeting behavior and establishment of social pecking order.

They see a dog lying in the grass, licking his "business."

City Slicker: "I wish **I** could do that."

Country Boy: "That dog'd BITE YOU!!!!!!"
