I decided to take a vacation from politics and the news.

I really need a mental health break from the constant evil racist idiocy of Trump and the rest of the republican party. The anxiety and stress is having an effect on me. I'm not depressed, I'm just exhausted. It is almost 4 years since Trump announced he was running. For two weeks, maybe three, I'm not going to watch TV, discuss politics, go on social media and the internet (except for maybe cat/dog videos).

I'm going to read a few of the many books on my shelf, go to a museum, watch some classic films, get a good nights sleep, try cooking some new recipes and spend some time outdoors. Maybe I'll try yoga or meditation.

I will be back soon to fight the good fight.

I admire you for being able to unplug. I simply can't, personally, but I wish you peace and renewed vigor to come back and fight. Cheers!

I have also decided to take a rest from politics. I have TV British mysteries and books to read. Mostly, I am going to read. It is the best escape. Play with and walk the dogs more often. Take the time for a good cup of tea. I am weary of tRump and his criminal activities. I have mourned for my country too long. Slogging through tRump land is exhausting.

I'm sticking to fluff myself. And figuring out ways to spend more time with people I care about.

What’s going to happen is going to happen. I’ll remain active locally, but nationally is just so messed up.
