the part that goes in first accelerates faster than the part that goes in last, so you are stretched out like a spaghetti noodle and get thinner and longer as you progress.

But it was a serious clip!

That was such an unusual show. I ran across it on PBS very late at night, so would watch it, whenever I was still up. I liked it.

In the white hole episode, they deal with time disruption until the end when Lister plays pool with planets and knocks one into the white hole, effectively shutting it down.
