I occasionally see deer in my neck-of-the-woods, especially in winter, but I can never get close enough for even a good look...

and then spouse opened the door for a better picture and thye first ran, they came back.

Only 50 ft from the House.

And, yes, the bird feeder was empty this morning. May have to remove it for the night. Some years back we had the tube hanging from a branch of a tree, so we hung it higher. Cannot do this now..

I've never been able to get so close, but you have something they want on offer. The ones I've seen always disappear if there's light. That is one impressive photo!
