the EMS person I spoke with said they would give me a call back to let me know what hospital but I am not sure I can realistically expect them to do that. It is also past my bed time so I apologise for leaving everybody hanging tonight. I will try to find him in the morning, hopefully they will take him to UMC - I know he is most "comfortable" there.

Thanks so much for all the good wishes - they mean so much to him.

He called me from the ER around 1:30 last night and sounded pretty good. He was waiting to be admitted. Said they thought it was an STD.

not really, he just wanted me to tell you that so you would think he had actually had "contact" in the last decade. Seems it might be a UTI instead. You can google the various initials, I don't want to spoil the joke.

I tried to call a couple of hours ago and he was still in ER! That kind of freaked me out, but the person on the phone said they got swamped last night and he was still waiting for a bed although he had been admitted. She was supposed to go try to get a call back to me from him but I suspect they are moving him and so forth. I will try again this evening when he is settled in and it isn't so busy. I think he is going to be alright. At least he sounded good last night.

Sorry to keep you waiting so long, had some work to do this morning and then I didn't want to call and wake him up...ha, should have known.
