I have Yassir Arafat's skin condition, so I have had a beard since I was 18. If I shave in any way at all, my skin breaks out bright red like a boiled lobster, so I stopped shaving altogether back then. My wife and I met in 1974, and she still doesn't seem to mind. As long as that's the case, anyone else's opinion is secondary to me.
