(13,189 posts)That's pretty amazing.
I know what ya mean about watching the playoffs.
I enjoy Hockey but I gotta be honest, there were several moments that thought I'd stroke out.

(33,643 posts)First ever trip to SL for the Stanley Cup ... finally, eh? Good for you guys. It was a convincing win, on the Road, no less. Happy for ya Sarge!
I just hope a similar history isn't about to made on our home court in Oakland tomorrow night ... but if it is, at least the fans got one 'for sure last ever O.co' game to enjoy. Nobody knew for sure at the end of Game 4 so there was kinda no fanfare, which sucked IMHO.
A 'W' would make it SO SO SO much sweeter though

(17,305 posts)I look at that Blues roster and, on paper, I don't think they are the best team in the league. They were Jekyll and Hyde this season, not very good in the first half and outstanding in the second half (again, I give much credit to Jordan Binnington).
But I thought there were several teams better than the Blues even at their best. Turns out I was wrong about that. St. Louis showed they had the right combination of talent, the right style of play and the grit and determination to go all the way. It appears that the city is thrilled to have a Stanley Cup and it is nice to see the championship going there for the first time.
Congrats.

A couple days back, St Louis police had to close downtown 2 hours before game 6 because there were no more places to put people. The. City. Was. FULL
I wished I was home to watch at my favorite watering hole - I am in southern Mississippi on a job - Which is a post I should make another place and time. What a . . . Place this is
Anyway, thanx for the good thoughts. Binnington came in at the same time that Tersenko woke up and O'Neil started thumping folks and everyone started listening to Barube and played the way he wants them to.
BTW Barube is still the interim Head Coach. Pretty sure he'll be named the full time coach soon -with a raise
