I have a lot of plans. Will have to wait until I get back to my desk before I change the World As We Know It.

would make sure you never run out of milk, ever. They would never interfere with your schedule, and you’d never see them - but you’d never run out of milk again.

I would also institute the Department of Free Laundry. At your convenience, a friendly worker will come haul off your dirty clothes, and then also at your convenience, return them to you, sorted, folded, and ironed.

That’s how I’d do it, by cracky!!

…while expanding the roster to 26. This would end the endless, dull pitching changes, force pitchers to learn how to pitch instead of just blowing their arms out, and let managers use real baseball players again, using that archaic concept, "the bench". A few other things:

...make it mandatory that any movie taking place in an urban area be in black-and-white. The only exception to this would be Quentin Tarantino. And while we're at it, make film, as opposed to digital, mandatory as well.

...shamelessly subsidize opera, classical, jazz, and the theater.

...limit commercial time on TV to eight minutes an hour.

...in order to combat climate change, I'd make the use of pogo sticks mandatory for all commutes under two miles. Only a note from a doctor would permit anyone to opt out.

...every neighborhood in America would have a block party every Friday evening. Free pizza and burgers. Real meat only.

...Every city of over 100,000 people would have to plant two trees for every inhabitant.

...that will do for a start. Needless to say, power would not go to my head...

You can't expect the first cat born with wings to just take off. Cats do things in their own damned time.

The descendants of house cats now live in the vertical ecosystems that have formed in abandoned skyscrapers. Cats have become the apex predators of the skyscrapers, living on mice and birds. These cats have never touched the ground; they find all they need to survive in the gutted skyscrapers where they spend their entire lives. Because they spend all their time above ground some cats evolve into flying cats, being able to glide like flying squirrels.

mine, rocket and bomb, then load it all onto spaceships and fly it into the sun.

Give everyone sticks and stones in return. Beautiful stick and stones.

Then, I would buy the whole world ice cream.....

The only exceptions would be emergency medical vehicles and sail boats.

The world moves too damned fast.

I'd also mandate six week yearly vacations, and one year vacations every decade, with no exceptions. Anybody who refused these vacations, and anyone caught working during these vacations, would have to make up for this time in prison, not working.

Human work ethics are destroying our world.
