Lenovo Computer sound problem

I can hear sound on my computer. But when I skype the person on the other end cant hear me.

If I record a video, It comes up with no sound.

I dont have an external mic.

Of course it must be hard to know what the issue is.
I go into sound, but not sure what to do to fix the problem.

with my old Lenovo and the sound would suddenly start working after years, work for a while, then stop again. The sound would work when I wore headphones. Not sure, but I think it may have been something going on inside or around the headphone port.

Look for your Microphone, check if it's disabled or has the volume turned way down or if it exists at all.
