(11,304 posts)My wife and I were laughing hysterically, we could hear a couple behind where we were sitting talking about us. They found it odd that an older white couple would be laughing at jokes shitting on Trump and Trump supporters. Let me say to them, we're not all fuckheads.

For three hours she laughed, after many hours of crying.
Any of the comedians I just mentioned are funny. JB Smoothe tends to swear a lot, he might be the funniest.

(21,798 posts)One caddy he called "Rabbit". Rabbit would run up the course to "locate" Trump's ball before anyone else got there. According to Lopez, Rabbit was moving his boss's ball to more favorable positions.

(6,831 posts)He gets funnier every year.
Favorite living comedian -- Billy Connolly. NOBODY makes me laugh harder than the Big Yin. Honorable mentions: Paul Mooney, Lewis Black, Sam Bee, Billy Crystal, DL Hughley, Richard Lewis, Will Durst, Sabrina Mathews, Henry Rollins (He doesn't consider himself a comic, but he makes me laugh 'til I cry.), Ron White, Kathleen Madigan, Tom Cotter, Bob Newheart, Kevin Pollack (His Al Pacino impressions are hilarious.), Dennis Leary, Russell Peters, and MONTY PYTHON.
RIP: Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Waylon Flowers (and Madam), Sam Kinison, Jackie Gleason, Red Skelton, Robin Williams, Gary Shandling, Jonathan Winters, Tim Conway, Don Rickles (Mr. Warmth), Groucho and Charlie Chaplin.
There are more, but this is just off the top of my head. Yes, I love stand-up. We need to laugh more and love more.

(16,386 posts)I have seen both in person and was not disappointed. Going way back: Carol Burnett, Buddy Hackett, and Don Rickles (no one could get away with his insulting humor nowadays). Oh, and back to the present: Jim Gaffigan. I'm sure I'm forgetting several.

(54,770 posts)Truthfully, I haven't watched a lot of standup comedy in past few years.
Do like Bill Maher, for the political humor. And used to love Lewis Black's rants, and Dave Chappelle was my favorite for a longtime.
Netflix and Amazon must have 20 comedy specials I need to watch.

and both do humor about the South.
Jeannie Robertson is more of a story teller than a stand-up comedian, but she is hilarious. Here's one example:
Henry Cho is a Korean who grew up in Knoxville TN and has a southern accent, which is part of some of his humor.
