Yes, the video is cute.

But the elephant is in captivity. Sure, this can be argued any number of ways, but for the most part wild animals should not be in captivity. (Kind of destroys the raison d'etre of zoos, but that's part of the discussion on wildlife.)

But this may be the only way some species will survive, tragically. At least this little guy looks like he's well taken care of, and not chained by his leg to a post. He obviously likes this human. Wonder if he has buddies in there?

And this kid looks rather happy to me.
