I know so many friends who’ve had or who have Lyme. The second one I don’t know anyone. And I worry because he has probably had it for a while. Have noticed some cognitive issues in the last year or so. Hoping there is no lasting damage.

Take extra good care of yourself too. It seems the second one is diagnosed more often now, from what I have read.

Looked it up and it doesn't exist, at least on the internet.

Lyme disease is not fun. But is curable.

Antibiotics can cure most cases of Lyme disease. The sooner treatment begins, the quicker and more complete the recovery.

Hope your husband is soon on the road to recovery.

It reacted nicely to the antibiotic and went away. It takes a little while, but the medicine does work. My main symptoms were a splitting headache and body aches that kept me from sleeping. I only had two very short neuro épisodes plus some word finding problems. They went away in due course as well.
