I'm a cat person myself, but rescued animals are the best.

Even if you want a specific breed, either your animal shelter or the rescue group for your breed will be able to connect you to what you want.

Personally, I think that more people should happily adopt a mutt. Again, as a cat person I don't know much about dogs but I'm very aware that almost all dog breeds are hideously inbred, which is genuinely tragic.

So let's hear it for the rescues!

Most dogs are The Best!!

Full disclosure: I loved 2 of my kitties (not all were that sweet) like my doggos too. So, critters are The Best!
