There's something about low-budget, practical effects horror movies that scare me more than today's higher budget films.

(743 posts)Horror films of today are for the most part just lame jump scares that you can see coming a mile away and way to much CGI even in scenes that do not need it at all. It makes everything look so fake. I miss the ingenuity and innovation of creating the special effects of older Horror / Sci-Fi movies that is sorely missing in films today.
