Well, it's the first time I heard of it.
Orville will get its third season, but it will air on Hulu - which is also owned by Disney.
Good move on their part. If people are like me, I subscribe to Hulu to see the Hand Maid's Tale, and unsubscribe when it's over. Same pattern for CBS Total Access for Star Trek Discovery. So, Hulu will now get some more money from me when Orville airs.

(25,253 posts)chase it to Hulu. I refuse to pay any more money for TV. I have a DirecTV dish and that costs plenty already. I'm sure that there are a lot of people like myself that are fans of the program that won't be watching it on Hulu. In my opinion - that will kill the show.

(46,735 posts)I agree. The best option is what happened with Discovery and CBS Total Access. After the show ran its course they allowed access to the full and completed episodes. So we saw them all in just one month.

(17,863 posts)but I understand it captures the spirit of Star Trek better than anything going on in the ST shows.
I guess it is enough different to avoid IP lawsuits.
I should give it a watch.
