Name your proud accomplishment when the odds were against you.

I'll start....

In early grade school, I was put in the "slow classes" and went to a "special activity room" with a couple of others when the class went into something a bit "deeper".

I graduated with a degree in Economics with dual specializations from, and I quote a professor from another University during a Professional gathering (...I got some letters to after my name)..."that's a hard school to get into!".

In the course of my work, I've managed hundreds of millions of dollars, been recognized by the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company and my greatest accomplishment, everyone I mentored has gone on to do better.

Every couple of years, I drive by the school that was determining a less than stellar future for me. And now, I'm thinking how early can I semi-retire.

I had to battle school administration, but they finally decided to let me be a senior in my third year.

I now attend class reunions for both my original class and the one I graduated with. Nice.

I'm 60 now and still kicking!!! Spending my time doing projects around the house, helping out the adult step-children and babysitting the grand kids. And I was supposed to be dead or in prison decades ago.

I was the only one left on my team versus 5 on the other side of the line.

Picked them off one by one for the comeback victory.

starting with Math 1 and ending with College transfer Math before heading off to
the University.

I couldn’t get a grip on math in Elementary School, Junior High or High School
but my local Community College had some fantastic educators who worked with me and
got me through it all.

Also, maybe I was just finally ready to let go of the past and learn.
