was spotted. Now, I have a real soft spot for young children who want to pet my doggy girl (who adores little ones). She does the work herself in convincing the Mom or grandparent, as she is so gentle approaching the wee ones, wagging her tail and immediately lying down in front of them. It is really heart-melting. Even the intensely protective grandmothers who don't seem to be "dog people" eventually give in.
