I'm afraid that we did far too good a job. Our children are successful independent adults. They don't NEED me any more.

But they do want me to visit!

I used to be a counselor at an AF base. I'd tell my clients, the AF lets you retire in 20 years. Your job as a parent is to work yourself out of a job in 18 years.
