(9,180 posts)It ran from 1959-1962. The first year it was filmed at Re-Vue studios, but in the second year (1960-61) it moved to Universal -- where the Bates house stood.. They have been showing the second year episodes, and in the last few weeks, the Bates house has been featured no less than three times. In one episode, it was used as an asylum, and the attendant was played by Ted Cassidy, better known for his portrayal of Lurch in the Adamms Family TV show.
