#BreakingNews - Actor Robert Forster has died at 78 following a brief battle w/brain cancer. Forster got an Oscar nomination for his work in “Jackie Brown.” Among his 100+ films: “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” which was released today via Netflix. Great guy. May he R.I.P.

He'll always be Max Cherry (Jackie Brown) for me FakeNoose Oct 2019 #5
His only flaw was that he did not leave town with Jackie at the end Submariner Oct 2019 #8

...was that Samuel L. Jackson's character was so reliant on swagger and intimidation, and Max Cherry wasn't having any of it. He COULD have been intimidated, he COULD have come back with the same and more, but he just didn't leave any cracks open. He was so centered and oblivious to outside drama, even though he let his guard down for Jackie. IT was a masterful performance that MADE the movie, in my opinion.

(even though for me Jackie Brown was fantastic on so many levels). I'm a huge Quentin Tarantino fan and Max Cherry is one of my favorite characters ever -for the reasons you mentioned.

I was sad to see her leave town alone when he took that last phone call.

I had a crazy high score on my MAT going into grad school and became a lifetime member.

Just for kicks and I like our lapel pins.
