I had cooked a whole crock pot of black beans for hours and they were perfect. As I was carrying the pot to the dining room it slipped out of my hands, landed on its side and all the black beans shot out of the crock pot like they were fired from a cannon, all over the dining room. They were everywhere. It took hours to clean up. Of course the crock pot broke too. I wish I had the excuse that the cat or dog tripped me up but it was all me.
