Has anyone heard of a home heating/cooling system that somehow adjusts to

the individual's needs?

Just heard a snippet of it on the radio, I thought they called it the Comfort Care or Care Comfort system, but can't find anything like that. It was a short "newsy" piece on a talk radio station but I'll be damned if I even know what station it was on.

I got the impression that it somehow automatically adjusted -- sounded futuristic but the reporter said the system is getting positive reviews.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about, because I sure as hell don't.

I think it still needs to be programmed. Baitball Blogger Jun 2012 #2

Unless you're in the Chicago area: http://www.comfortcare1.com/

If you know the radio station number or call letters, you should be able to find their website and a list of advertisers.

Let me know if you figure it out!

country, too -- but thanks for lookin'!

I was in a little store and the shopkeep had the radio on, so not sure what station. And, I was "store crawling" so I don't even remember which store! I DO remember thinking "I'm going to remember this" but alas, mere moments later, it was gone. Poof.

If it's as great an innovation as I think they were intimating, no doubt we'll all hear about it before too long.

But you can set it to four different settings in a day, for seven different days a week. One for when you leave for work. Rack it up to save electricity. One for the return home. One for the evening, bedtime hour, and another for wake up.

I've been programming mine since at least the mid 90's.

Any system I know of has to have a method of manually setting the temperature to whatever the homeowner finds most comfortable.
