Even if yes, then I have not idea what this has to do with cruise lines. It's some jewelry/crystal company.

No, you shouldnt care. It's just a brand of crystal. Pretty common. I've bought my wife Swaroski jewelry a few times... usually at the airport on my way home from a business trip if I've deemed it necessary to bring home a small gift. It's usually pretty reasonably priced and usually results in tangible gratitude.

take us to a representative business (like perfumery in southern france, diamond dealers in the Netherlands) or tells us what was the flagship item for sale in the country we were in. In Austria is was Swarovski chrystals. I bought earings. They were just studs but well made and they lasted for years. Now you can get cheap plastic ones everywhere like pharmacies that are not swarovski but they aggravate my ears as the studs are not sterling silver.

Or encourage you to shop and buy stuff while in port.

You don't have to do either one. It really is possible to go on a cruise and spend almost no additional money. Instead of signing up for a shore excursion, you could just wander around on your own. If you don't drink, good for you! Oh, and you'll avoid spending a whole lot of extra money on alcohol.

I've only taken one cruise so far, which I just loved. I found that I really liked the days at sea, and will be taking a cruise to Hawaii next year, which will have a total of about ten days at sea. Hooray!

Cruises are not for everyone. But there's a lot of misinformation out there about cruises, and it's also important to do a lot of research about the cruise line and the specific cruise you want to take.

The crystal is unimportant, unless you like that sort of stuff.

I have about 10 of them hanging up in the window creating hundreds of rainbows every morning. Each years is different and very collectible. Makes a great gift too. (In my opinion)

The tree at Rockefeller Center has a Swarovski star atop it every year.

gems and discontinued watches sold at ridiculously high prices. There are hundreds of law suits against the cruise lines from individuals who bought jewelry onboard only to learn when they got home that they were ripped off.

One of the reasons many of the lines no longer hold art auctions is the number of legal actions they are defending. Not only was the art sold overpriced, in many cases it was forged.

Caveat emptor!
