https://www.bing.com/shop?q=Ruched+gloves&https://www.bing.com/shop?q=Ruched+gloves&I found a pair of casual black ruched gloves, in black, in a drawer and have started wearing them. They are empowering!
But I think they are now out of style. However, if you want a bit of your inner Miranda Priestly to show, these gloves kinda do it.
(I'm not really into being Miranda Priestly but I would love to say to Trump "No, no...that is all..." and wave him away...

(18,303 posts)I agree that gloves are empowering. As for still being in style... be the one to bring them back.

(63,912 posts)they are casual but lovely with slightly curved fingertips. And they are lightweight...

(15,137 posts)Those gloves are beautiful! My daughter has started wearing some of the broaches that I gave her (I don't dress up so much any more - retired) that fell out of style. Now we just need shoulder pads to return. I have a gorgeous leather bomber jacket that I'd love to wear again!

(15,137 posts)I'm not sure what happened to it. You could consider maybe having a piece of it made into a collar for a dressy winter coat, if you have one. The problem is that genuine animal fur is not popular any more - the cruelty of the animal trade is awful.
Not sure what to suggest. There may still be furriers around who might give you some guidance.

(63,912 posts)I would probably be accosted by animal rights activists and they would be right to question it.
Plus, I really don't want to wear animal fur.
Could I give it o an animal rights org. and let them decide how to dispose of it?

Sorry my husband disposed of the mink coat he gave me (after we separated,) was light weight and warm.

Mine are un-ruched black leather gloves, with some sort of lining.

(63,912 posts)searching a drawer for gloves and there they were...I'd love it if they had a deep, dark history but alas...
