My dad was stationed in Morocco in'56 and '57. No radio, If I got good
grades I got a record--they were all classical.
Years later when he was stationed at Dyess AFB in Abilene Texas I heard the local
symphony do it (in 6th grade). I held hands with Margaret Lester and got
teased about it for days.
Seriously, I love Tchaikovsky's work. Shastacovich(sp) as well.
Bach and Mozart will always be my favorites.
