at no responses"

"But you've got lots of views."

I can understand if nobody sees it - posts are, as you say, easily missed

but 50 - 60 views with a very low response rate and I think:

That's how many people saw my post and thought so little of it that they just moved on

Give me a silver cloud and I can find the dark lining.

Just 1 of my OPs this year, which was posted in Meta, turned into a mega thread with lots of views and comments.

Many are called but few dare reply.

But it's all good. I only start like a half-dozen threads a year anyway. I'm more of a reply monkey.

you think they will really like the potted plants you fixed up and set out but it's the broken blender they want this time, and of course you only have the one.

It is odd what posts will get a lot of replies - never the ones you think. This reminds me - I think I need to beg for attention on one I did today.

I have been trying for over two weeks to get my internet going faster than my 24 K dial-up via a new usb air card modem...finally got it working and opened the email with the pix, loaded them to photobucket and posted in GD (probably the big mistake right there) and have had 90 views and 2 replies. seemed like it would have done better.
