(12,470 posts)Because cats are independent, they do what they want, and don't see anyone as thier superior or master.
Anyone hell bent on controlling a cat who has not earned the cat's trust will pay in blood and pain for trying.
Cats have no biological pack urges like dogs do.
Wonder if thier cat hating is telling about a bit of an authoritarian
stance somewhere in their personality.
Allergies, unfamiliarity and phobia's
excluded.
Cat haters that won't begrudge a cat a lap when they visit are to be scrutinized.Cat haters are no freinds of mine. If a person can't show any kindness to animals they are not welcome in my house. Because I hate narcissism, sociopaths and authoritarian personality types, and I avoid them like the plague they are.

(12,022 posts)My hubby is horribly allergic to cats. When we walk into the house of a cat owner, I'll be calling out "here kitty!" and instead of coming to me, the cat invariably jumps into hubby's lap.
