Physiotherapy - Is it effective?

Hi All,
Are there any physiotherapists on line today? Or anyone who has experience going to see one?

I have lower back issues that I'd really like to get resolved.
A number of people have recommended seeing a physio.
However I'll be paying for this out of pocket so I would have high expectations for effectiveness.

What do you think?
Your comments would be helpful since my back issues are becoming quite annoying.

Cheers.

Unless you have fractures, I'd say a chiropractor would be more appropriate of a starting point. HopeHoops Jun 2012 #1

I'd discuss with them, try for a free 'consult.' Do you have a GP you could ask for a referral?
