I passed out as well. I hate bugs! And no bug in the world should be bigger than my hand. Yikes.

Sea snakes, saltwater crocodiles, funnel-web spiders, box jellyfish and more...

The critters in the photo might not be lethal but they're just too damned big to be in somebody's kitchen. Ick.

Closer to the arctic circle than the equator! Our bugs are small enough to squash with the tip of your shoe!

Picture has been enlarged, you can tell by the oversized door hinge. But still a very scary situation I hope to never encounter.

The Huntsman spider LEG from leg to leg is around 12 in. with body of 2 in. The wasp size is about 2 in. long, making them among the largest wasp species.

The scary part is the wasp does not kill the spider, but paralyzes it, drags it to its lair, lays an egg on it which the larva feeds on while the spider is still alive. NOW if that isn't out of the movie Alien, it certainly sounds like it.

We have roaches the size of this wasp.

I had the worst invasion of American cockroaches until I found out my bath tub drain had come disconnected. They were coming from the sewer.

I don't mind ants too much.
