Just the latter part of SW: The Force Awakens for the

Twentieth time. When Rey, Finn, Chewbacca, and Han meet up on the frozen death star planet, Han and Finn are so glad to see Rey, but they are outside in the snow, and neither man offers her his jacket even though she clearly is less covered than them. It isn't even about chauvinism, but seeing that her situation is much worse than theirs, and she grew up on a hot planet, making her sensitivity even worse. I would offer a poorly-clothed male friend my jacket in that situation.

Or maybe they did offer, and she is just showing them how much tougher she is.

I'll try not to over-think this any more.

In this instance, the visuals of the costumes were more important than logic, I assume.
I recently saw a really bad movie about a large glacier making its way to the US bringing with it temperatures so low that people are turned into frozen statues in seconds. Yet we see some of the actors running around in clothes suitable at best for autumn and coats that aren't even closed.
