Brit procedurals are generally riveting, lots of good ones on Acorn too.

mrs. unblock grew up in england, we like the uk crime dramas.

shetland is another goodie.

Comes close to The Wire. Acting is flawlessly superb.

In Line of Duty, Lennie James was also very good, I am tracking down his other roles, he's worth watching.

i liked the wire, but didn't find it to be such a standout compared to many of these others.

Borgan...it is superb, one of those perfect actors in perfect roles things.

Occupied... definitely addicting. Problem is, Netflix streaming only showed Season 1, wile season 2 is complete and available elsewhere. I may have to break down and buy it.

Norwegian/swedish shows can be marvelous, but they have their not as good offerings also.

I'm on the outlook for more good ones.
