I cant sleep waiting on snow possible 5-8 inches. So other day I saw this 62 reissue Japanese strat online it is only $400 as it is a player. A lot of buckle rash and pick wear. I have bought around six guitars off this person and only ever returned one.
The one I returned even un plugged it just didnt have tone or that un plugged ring. Were on back porch at moment coyotes are busy this morning. Mr chocolate lab is chewing his bone and when coyotes start his hackles go up and growls. He will stop listen to his relatives and then really start chewing his bone.
Boog - dam neighbors are ridiculous man making noise at 03:30 in the morning. (He then stops to listen then gives a woof) keep it down my people are sleeping except the man.
Were having my pipe and coffee hes really working on the bone. I have him wrapped up in a old blanket. He stops once in awhile for me to rub his big head.
Boog - ok man Im taking a break from my bone rub my ears and muzzle.

One of my best scores this year on guitars. We saw this little old lady struggling with her hand made sign in the wind. We stopped and helped her. She only had a few item in the yard and I bought a cool old chair. While talking to her I asked if she had any more stuff and handed her one of my cards. A couple of weeks later she call and told me about some other stuff and mentioned an old guitar. I told her I'd be right over. She brought out an old clap board case. I opened it and it was a 1958 Harmony arch top Broadway model. Not a big deal until you look at the condition. Perfect, not a scratch on it. Not even any finish cracks and those birch finishes are famous for.
I ask her how much and asked what I'd give her, I said how about $90. She jump up and down and said great. I looked it up and the catalog in 1958 had it listed, retail for $49. I'd bet that was what she paid for it. My local guitar store guy said "easy retail price for it is over $300". Those business cards have more than paid for themselves.
Always on the look out for old "Law suit guitars" from Japan.
