(5,530 posts)They have been really safe choices. For this one, Miami --> Latin Culture etc.
Ever since U2 after 9-11, they have been glitzy affairs without any redeeming social value.
It's 12 minutes a year so I don't really get up in arms about it.
It's the only game where I actually watch the commercials so I have to use the bathroom sometime.

Some acts currently touring that would have worked: Pearl Jam, doobie Bros, Wilco, roger waters, Los lobos, Greensky bluegrass....

(20,210 posts)the artist for their performance. They foot the bill for the expenses of the production, but the artist themselves get zip. So most of the time you get someone promoting a new album or concert tour. Some are good; some not so much.
