Cat-astrophe averted! An old-fashioned ladder wouldn’t have worked in this cat skyscraper rescue in Chattogra, Bangladesh. As firefighters used a cherry-picker to carry a kitty off the ledge of a high-rise building, a crowd gathered below cheered the over-the-top efforts.

Nice story. This was in Bangladesh, btw and that would have been a costly undertaking. I have to wonder if such efforts would have been undertaken in NYC or elsewhere in the US. I'd like to think so.
