Okay, been taking a little over a month now. I was having foot pain, for which I saw a doctor (tests scheduled for Feb. 17). While the soles of my feet are still jacked up, the pain in my toes and the top of my feet is completely gone. Look, I don't know if this is the placebo effect, my imagination and wishful thinking, or what - but that pain is gone, and has been for about 2 weeks.
Also, I am definitely sleeping better. I still wake up numerous times, but instead of fighting to go back to sleep, I fall back asleep within a minute or two. Wake up feeling rested.
My mood is improved.
YMMV.
I am not recommending, but simply sharing my experience. I'd like to know what you've experienced. (FWIW, I was a daily MJ smoker for 30 years, but I have both heart and lung disease so can't partake. I'm okay with that.)
I'm going to cross post this in the Senior's group.

(86,647 posts)I got involved with my friend's hemp grow. Of two crops I was involved with, the second one was much better.
With the first crop, our CBDa level was around 3% and it was pretty good. We put just the big leaves in a vitamix with artesian water, strained out the pulp and drank 2oz at a time as a tonic... it was amazing, I had stamina with greatly diminished pain after 20 minutes. Those of us active on the farm drank this 3 times a day and we, there were several workers at harvest, were able to get a lot done all day long, crash at night and sleep well. But one of the best things was being able to move when I awoke in the morning, which without the CBD juice, I wouldn't have lasted two days in a row.
Some of the guys tried smoking it, and this wasn't even bud stock it was the big leaf, I observed them as a nonparticipant. What I saw first were two of them who were previously working on a challenging project went back to work with a better level of concentration and calmness that had evaded them earlier. It calmed them down so they could solve their problems without oversight. Next I watch my two friends who both have ADD find a state of mind where focus was available to them, a prolonged ability to focus. At that point I was sold on it as a calming agent as well.
The farm owner and I both make tinctures, salves, oils and a host of home made remedies. I have found that it is helping with a fungus on one of my toes and I make tea whenever something isn't feeling right. I've discovered that the tea is also a 20 minute fix for lots of painful parts.
The next crop, 2019, the CBDa level is at 7% and in I couldn't drink the juice after early August because the turpines were so strong*. I make a really weak tea and it works wonderfully and tastes rather pleasant.
I have given free samples to friends and told them they were guinea pigs. They have reported back a number of positive anecdotes and quite a bit of satisfaction with the products I gave them.
I would simply advise that you find out what the CBDa % is when examining a product. I don't like to blend a lot of ingredients so I mostly keep it straight hemp to test the results.
*The stuff had such a strong skunkbud odor that the mice left the storage buildings!
My 2 cents.
