Re. The cardinal that crashed into my building

that I posted about yesterday:
Took her to Keys Wild Bird Hospital this morning. She has a severe concussion which they said was very treatable. They are giving her pain meds, hydration, and rest today. They expect full recovery. Nothing reported on broken bones. So “Lucy” might come home eventually.

5. There have been cardinals on my bird feeders all winter - they don't migrate.

But they did say they were giving her pain meds so maybe it’s a whiplash type of injury?
She did tweet once when we were in the car driving to hospital. I wondered if she was on twitter .
