A joke- a dark , morbid joke

I got fired from my job because I kept asking my customers whether they would prefer “Smoking” or “Non-smoking”

Apparently the correct terms are “Cremation” and “Burial”.

my Mother worked at Forest Lawn in Los Angeles (Tom Lehrer describes it as the "necrophiliac's Disneyland) as an accountant. They had to be careful about what they said. "I'll see what I can dig up!" was definitely out.
