Source--https://www.kold.com/2020/02/24/watch-javelina-caught-speeding-arizona/

snip--"Javelina, also known as collared peccary or musk hogs, are herbivores (eating cacti, insects, fruits and seeds) found in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and south all the way into Argentina.

Javelina usually live in herds with eight to nine members. According to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, javelina have lived up to 24 years in captivity, but the average life span is closer to 7 to 8 years.

One of the most distinctive aspects about javelina is the odor they put off. The smell is similar to a skunk and you are more likely to smell a herd coming long before you see or hear them.

Javelina have a scent gland located on the top of their rump, which they use to communicate with others."

Little bit more at source.

I'd like to know how fast s)he was running, and I'll bet some video game designer is now working on. 'Javalina, fast and smelly#1", it blows a cloud that disables those pursuing.

is poor in the sunlight. Coyotes, deer, etc., you can watch without feeling threatened. Javelina, however, you must be careful and not approach. And especially don't cross their path when there's babies. They are very protective and territorial. I put out some fruit one night and watched them eat from the plastic plate. They don't eat like dogs, cats, or horses, they bend their front legs so it looks like they are on their knees.

He's running like that because he heard me yelling at the coyote that took my sleeping bag?

I like to joke that it was the same coyote that I insulted sum time ago by confusing him for a dog. He finally got even.
